HFQ® technology is a new lightweight and robust metal which is transforming manufacturing processes across the North West and throughout the UK. PAB has played a key part in the development of this technology and is now delighted to see it become part of production processes for engineers and manufacturers across the North West.
Located in the Midlands, PAB is located near the UK’s motorway network and is easily placed to work with businesses across the North West.

Developed by Professor Lin of Imperial College London and Professor Dean of the University of Birmingham, and Impression Technologies Limited, HFQ® technology provides a cost-effective means of producing lightweight, complex aluminium components, opening the door to a new generation of solutions for transportation industries.

PAB can see the huge benefits that the HFQ® Technology is going to have on manufacturers in the North West and in particular in the transport industry. This lightweight yet strong material will mean vehicles use less energy, but without any compromise on performance.
